Introduction
Despite being registered in late 2013, this site had almost no traffic. It took the owner a long time to build out the site, but it didn’t get much traffic in spite of a large number of pages.
SEO Audit
In order to determine whether something serious is wrong with the site, we had to conduct an audit.
No penalties were found on this website, it just didn’t rank for the specific keywords on page # 1. In addition, there were no over-optimized pages, just a limited number of backlinks.

Whenever we research a keyword, we look for hidden potential that we can maximize to increase traffic quickly.

Easy Wins Analysis
By analyzing easy wins, we find keywords that rank somewhere on Google, but not in the top spots where most people are visiting.
Identifying these, will enable us to push them up and increase traffic faster.
A total of 1205 easy wins keywords were identified for this site, ranking mostly on pages 2-4, with traffic between 10-9,200ms and a CPC between .60 cents – $10.
Due to its failure to crack page 1, this site was not getting much attention.
Content Gap Analysis
For content creation, we look at competitor keywords that aren’t being targeted yet by the website and use these as inspiration.
A total of 103 keywords are used on this site with a volume ranging between 190 Ms and 3500 Ms and PPC costs are similar to the easy wins.
As part of this process, we worked with the customer to pick out a few high priorities and select some keywords based on their knowledge of industry trends (this is the reason why we work side by side with our customers to understand business goals).
